Using Turning Point in Your Presentation:

If you plan to use TurningPoint polling software as an audience engagement tool, please email your PPT presentation to acpmissouri@gmail.com along with notes as to which slide numbers you wish to use for polling.  Each polling slide should contain the question and the answer choices, and we will apply the pane for poll results in the lower-left quarter.

When creating slides to be used with the TurningPoint polling software, keep these things in mind:
  • We will be using the multiple-choice option, so please provide no more than four answer choices.
  • The more text you include, the smaller the font will be, so answer choices should be fairly brief.
  • It is good to include slides with supporting information that lead up to the question; the question and the answer choices will appear on a single slide, though.
  • It is probably best to limit your answer choices to text, as images (especially when small) are often difficult to see in a conference setting.
