2021 Missouri ACP Hospitalist Day &
Scientific Meeting Safety Protocols
Missouri ACP understands the COVID situation is changing daily and many conference attendees are concerned about traveling. For this reason, we are offering our events both in-person and virtually and will make recordings available online after the conference in case you are unable to attend the live sessions.
We are ready to host those who are comfortable traveling to Margaritaville and attending in-person, and have implemented the following safety protocols.
Guidelines Missouri ACP will be following for attendance at the meetings in September:
• Proof of Vaccination: We are requiring all who will be at our in-person events to show proof of vaccination prior to attending, and attest to our online waiver. Click here to review the waiver and upload your vaccine card.
• Masks will be required at all times in the meeting rooms, with the exception of those presenting. We will not allow food consumption in the meeting spaces. Beverages will be allowed. We ask that attendees re-mask when not drinking a beverage.
• Outdoor Dining: We will be providing dining for all meal functions outside, weather permitting. If you are not comfortable eating outside, we encourage you to take your meal to your sleeping room.
• Distancing: Seating will be one person per 6-foot table and all tables will be socially distanced.
• Staffing: We will limit all attendee interaction with hotel staff as much as possible during the meetings.
• Assigned Seating: There will be assigned seating at the conference. Where you sit the first session is where we will ask you to return to for the remainder of the conference. We will provide name tents so people coming in will know which seats are taken.
• Limiting Paper: We will limit the amount of paper distributed at the conference. We do encourage you to BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) and will try to make electrical outlets available to attendees as much as possible, but please come with a fully charged device each morning.
• Check-in will be self-serve as much as possible. We will have somebody at the registration desk to answer questions as often as we can.
If you have any questions please reach out to Missouri ACP staff by calling 573-636-2144 or emailing [email protected].
